We are committed to providing equitable opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background.
The purpose of this role is to rapidly build up the capacity of NEON’s Spokesperson Network in Scotland. It is initially a 18 month role, but we are actively seeking longer term financing for it. The Spokesperson Network trains and supports people to speak on television and radio. We are substantially boosting the number of progressive, diverse voices in this space to challenge opposition narratives and boost coverage of underrepresented issues.
The Head of Digital is a new position in the NEON Comms Hub - bringing digital skills and experience to a fast-moving team which bolsters progressive communications infrastructure. You will be someone who is both able to land powerful, shareable content - and has the skills to train up cohorts of people to do the same. You’ll be able to work with online influencers to back hard-hitting campaigns.
We acknowledge that people from certain backgrounds are under-represented in progressive movements and we’re committed to doing what we can to correct this. We are particularly keen to receive applications from people of colour; disabled people; people who identify as being LGTBQIA; people who have a mental health condition; and people who identify as working class or have done so in the past.
Data collected during recruitment processes will be treated as per this data notice. And if you're interested to know how NEON does referencing, you can find more information on the FAQs.
