Nurses United is a campaign organisation that builds power for nurses, their patients and our NHS. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re recruiting a new Organiser, on a fixed-term contract, to join our team and help us deliver our campaigns in 2021.
Our work centres around organising nurses and the public to:
- Build an Anti-racist NHS with our Nurses of Colour network and Anti-racist Framework
- Fight for pay justice with our 15% pay rise campaign
- Campaign for protective equipment and Safe Staffing ratios for nurses to carry out their roles safely
So now we are looking for someone who is a skilled and experienced organiser or thinks they have the transferrable skills to learn the role! You’ll work closely with our Lead Organiser and frontline nurses from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You need to: be committed to building the power of social movements; have the ability to talk to and build trust with a diverse range of people including members, our stakeholders and volunteers; have experience campaigning online, and have a commitment to fighting oppression in all its forms.
If this sounds like you, what are you waiting for???
