Nurses United is a new organisation of frontline nurses for frontline nurses which we think you can agree is pretty important right now. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re recruiting a new Organiser to join our team and help us deliver our activities in 2020.
Our COVID-19 work will centre around organising nurses and the public to:
- Campaign for protective equipment and safe staffing for nurses to carry out their roles safely
- Services to support nurses’ mental wellbeing during and after the crisis
- A new deal for nurses and the NHS following decades of attacks to our profession and service
So now we are looking for a skilled and experienced organiser who is able to organise people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and needs; who are committed to building the power of social movements, to help us deliver the next phase of our campaigns. You will be well versed in digital organising, creating engaging social media content and working with the press while also maintaining a commitment to fighting oppression in all its forms.
