Organiser – Movement Builders

Contract Type: Fixed Term Employment

Hours:  4 or 5 days per week offered (one year contract with possibility of extension, funding dependent)

Salary: £29,702 – £33,795k pro rata (depending on experience) + pension contribution
Reporting to: Senior Training Organiser

We’re looking for someone to join the Movement Builders Team at NEON to develop the Movement Builders community; leading on the design and delivery of a community development strategy which will include national events, bespoke coaching programmes, online support such as webinars and more. You will be the first point of contact for Movement Builders grads, and will ensure they are plugged in to the wider NEON network.

The participants on the programmes are our lifeblood and this role will be in charge of nurturing the community of practice around Movement Builders. This currently consists of over 150 alumni members, and will continue to grow. The community is made up of leading organisers, campaigners and activists from across the UK and internationally, driving change on some of the most pressing issues of social, environmental and economic justice. The groups is diverse in identity, political orientation and organising tactics, whilst also being keen to undertake synchronised national action on their issues, using the Movement Builders frameworks as a foundation for this collaboration.
