Climate change isn’t just one challenge among many, it’s the challenge that’s reshaping everything around us. But who it affects and who the transition benefits doesn’t fall equally.
At NEON we believe that to truly tackle climate change we need to build the broadest possible coalition around demands for economic justice and a just transition, and a vision for a new economy that centres the needs of people and planet, breaking with an extractive economic system that got us here.
Our flagship climate project is ‘Worker-led Transition’ - a collaboration with the TUC to support workers in high-carbon industries to design and win transition plans in their workplaces, while building alignment between the climate movement and trade union movement.
